The Golden Retriever, an excitable Scottish dog of great  beauty, stands as one of America’s most popular dog breeds. They are serious  workers when hunting and during field work. Golden Retrievers work as guides for the blind and excel in search-and-rescue. They enjoy obedience training and other competitive events, and have an endearing love of life when not at work.
